Task Description:

For this task we had to do this which was to do a task called making fractions on a numberline. This task was basically all about putting each fraction on a numberline meaning that it has to be in the same spot of the numberline. Information about Mars!

Task Description:

For this task we had to do this task which was an extra task for Room 7 learners. I had chosen to call my title Information about Mars. If you didn't know anything about Mars than today is your lucky day. Mars is red just because the Planet is Red that doesn't mean it is a very hot / warm planet. For this task we had to do this task which was all about sending a post card to our dearest friends, The person I had sent it to was Makayla, We also had to send them a post card to the planet we were located at & the planet I was located at was Mars you might have noticed but I had done one just like this before, Can you spot the difference. Term 2 Rubric Reflection

Reading what I had got on my Rubric Reflection I felt really proud of what my score was but there was something else I really needed to work on which was to… Talk a lot more for our paideia Seminar & contributing meaning to, Piggyback, Agree or Disagree and argue with the people who I think I really needed to argue with. How will I be able to adjust myself to level 5? Well I think I would need to work harder meaning to, speak up more, communicate more & mainly contributing more of what our topic is mainly all about.

Reading what my score was about our Term 2 production I felt so proud but what I really needed to work on was to focus on the audience & to keep on smiling. How will I adjust myself to level 5? From here & on I really think my goal is to start contributing towards the production as well as to contribute to the creation of the performance. So what I really need to work on is basically all of this.

For this task we had to do this task which was called Giants World! This task for me was all about measuring LARGE objects to measure. We had to use our feet to measure the objects like for example the coffee table or what we call the Yellow table. For this task we had to do a maths task which was this. This here is just a practice but to me when I had read the 2nd slide I did not know it was a time table because until I read it the 2nd time. Task Description:

For this task we had to write down words that would help us Room 7 learners remember the planets in our solar system. To me I think that this is all a joke which is why I wrote this, My very educated Monkey just stepped upon Natallie. Room 7 is focusing on our dwarf planet called Pluto which was known to be a normal planet just like the other ones, But was not. I really hope that this will help you remember all the planets in our solar system M - N. Enjoy & stay tuned for more upcoming posts... 

Picture book story...

Walt: write for a younger audience. 

Venice went around the world to find the planet that was right for her. Walking to the spaceship Venice wanted to explore the Galaxy up in space. Venice was so excited. It was time.

Counting down from 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, BLAST OFF! Reaching for the stars Venice looks all around space. She see’s Planets, Moons & a lot of Stars. Venice was totally surprised. Venice goes all around Space to find out more information about each Planet.

Mercury. Mercury is the first planet from the sun. Mercury speeds around the sun every 88 days. Mercury is the smallest planet in the solar system. This planet isn’t right for me that is why I am going to the next planet.

Venus. Venus is the second planet from the sun, Venus is Earth’s twin. Venus is so bright because it is covered with clouds & it reflects the incoming Sun. Venus is the same size as Earth, It is also a very hot planet. This planet isn’t right for me that is why I am going to the next planet.

I am back to where I blasted off I am just going to have a rest from the big adventure I had in space.………. 5 minutes later. I am now ready to explore the planets again. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. BLAST OFF!!!

Mars. Mars is the 4th planet from the sun. The air on Mars is 100 times thinner than on Earth. Mars has got desserts & Ice It has also got 2 moons. Mars can be quite warm & it’s normal temperature is 63 degrees. This planet isn’t right for me that is why I am going to the next planet.

Jupiter. Jupiter is the 5th planet from the sun, Jupiter is the biggest planet in the solar system. It is five times as far from the sun as the Earth. Jupiter is a giant ball filled with gas, It also has no solid surface. This planet isn’t right for me that is why I am going to the next planet.

Uranus. Uranus is the 7th planet from the sun. Uranus is the only planet that spins & lays on it’s side. Uranus is known to have 27 Moons but none of them are very big. Uranus has a lighter blue than Neptune. Did you know that a day on Uranus is 17 hours & 14 minutes. This planet isn’t right for me that is why I am going to the next planet.

Neptune. Neptune is the 8th planet from the sun. Neptune has at least 5 very dark & narrow rings. Neptune was known to have 13 moons. Neptune has many active ice volcanoes that spurt plumes of gas and dust. Neptune has a thin atmosphere has frozen onto the surface. This planet isn’t right for me that is why I am going to the next planet.

“Don’t you think we should return to Earth”. Why? “ Well one reason is because I really miss seeing my family & friends as well as learning important things at School that us people should learn”. “I really miss having to play on the park & singing, “Says Venice!. Alright then it’s your choice we’re returning to Earth". Friends, Family & Teachers here we come! So we ate & played all day long, There was nothing more fun than doing this, It was the best time ever! We are so not leaving Earth ever again.

Task Description:

For this task we had to write a narrative story for younger kids in year 1. I had to write facts or information about each planet & the person I chose to do for my story was Venice. If there is kids that are year 1's than this is a story that is right for you. We will all be putted into 2 groups & will be going from there. I hope year 1's enjoy, & hope to see you blogging like this when you get older.

Task Description:

The task was all about this which was to send a post card to our friend of the planet we were about to visit. The planet I wanted to visit was Mars, Mars because it seemed like a cool looking planet to visit. I really think Mars is a great planet even better because we can stand on it. I wish Lillyana could actually see this.

This is a task that everyone has to do once they have finished we all had to do an extra task which was this. We had to create our own Solar System, I had an extra helper called Venice I might of mentioned her earlier today. For this task everyone had to complete a task which is all about this. We were to give advice to our friend Gorgon, He was from the planet Gorganicon which is in a type of Galaxy. I was working with a new friend of mine called Venice she was a really helpful person, It seemed just like an advice blog everyone knows that. Paideia Seminar Term 2 Reflection...

Last week on Thursday the extension group had a Paideia Seminar. The topic was all about focusing on Technology, By the way this was only my first time doing a Paideia Seminar. Everything & Everyone was placed in the Tusitala Room. During the Paideia Seminar I felt very nervous, Shaky & Anxious about what I was going to say. There was a lot of emotion in me but I had gotten over it as soon as I spoke.

Before we had our Paideia Seminar we all had to get into groups of 2 My buddy was Makayla & she was great. Everyone had to pretend that we were Digital Creators & Designers, Cultural perspective, Children, Scientist, Medical people, News & TV Reporters, Schools & the Government. What myself & my friend Makayla chose to do was News & TV Reporters. At first we had both thought that we had to choose a (Fake) Job in the document, Which is why we had chosen to do News & TV reporters.

As soon as the Paideia Seminar had finished I had felt very proud of everyone as they did work hard on putting everything together & saying it in front of everyone, Thanks a lot guys. What I would do to work on speaking up a bit more is to write more like my parents say, Writing more you could be speaking or saying more, Which is kind of what I tried to do but I was to shy. Overall I am so proud of myself & of course everyone else for being  extremely awesome role models & amazing speakers everyone was amazing. I can’t wait for the next Paideia Seminar.

For this task we had to do a Google drawing doc. I had to find the planets and place them all in order. Just like this, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus & Neptune. This was quite hard but I had my friend Venice to help me with this. So we both worked as a team.
