WALT: Code to be able to create games
Task Description:
- What types of blocks and codes did you use in this game eg. directions, repeats etc?
- What did the blocks and codes enable you to do with the games?
- What did you learn from the exercise?
1. I would say there were a variety of different codes I had used throughout the game, although I did have to think a lot in order to get to the next level. As you can clearly see most levels have very, very different codes and some with the exact same as the previous level. In order to actually pass and clear the levels I was to use the right codes and of course the right amount that had been limited and already set for you.
2. Although I ended up struggling and making multiple mistakes with choosing the right codes, it enabled me to reset what I made wrong and test out other technique skills in order to pass the current level I was working on.
3. With what I've currently achieved in both games I've learnt how to code incredibly simple games, I've learnt that if you try different techniques you'll always get a different and hopefully better outcome than your previous attempt. My biggest one was having the ability of making multiple mistakes, this really helped because I was not only able to learn from it but to make different choices with what I made wrong. Although making mistakes is what everyone does, all that is expected from you is to just learn from it and change what you had presented wrong.
